Export review, production and dispatch

Position reviewed: 26 October 2026. Recheck the applicable rules and this notice before quoting or dispatch.

Our current airframe order process includes applications for Chinese dual-use export licences, including for bare-airframe orders. This describes our handling process; it is not a statement that every airframe or accessory has the same legal classification.

Order documents, review periods and shipment requirements

Confirm the order and documents

Before ordering, confirm the exact model, variant, SKU, included equipment, destination, consignee, final end user and intended civil use. Ask which documents are needed for the applicable export process. Do not send identity documents or confidential technical files through the public brief tool; agree a suitable document channel first.

The statutory review period is not a delivery time

Under Article 17 of China's Regulations on Export Control of Dual-Use Items, the ordinary decision period is 45 working days from official acceptance of an export licence application, not from an inquiry, payment or document submission. Time required for statutory identification, expert consultation or on-site verification is excluded. Cases requiring State Council approval, or State Council and Central Military Commission approval, are not subject to that ordinary period. Other statutory exceptions may apply. A decision can approve or refuse a licence; approval is not guaranteed.

Request a staged schedule

Ask for separate updates on document preparation, official application acceptance and review, production and agreed acceptance checks, packing and customs clearance, and carrier booking and transit. The written quotation should identify dependencies and whether any stages may overlap. We do not promise a fixed total delivery period. Dispatch depends on the applicable export outcome, order readiness, customs requirements and carrier acceptance.

Announced change: effective 18 November 2026

The joint Ministry of Commerce, General Administration of Customs and Central Military Commission Equipment Development Department Announcement No. 49 of 2026 was issued on 19 October 2026 and takes effect on 18 November 2026. It updates specified UAV-related controls and provides conditional facilitation measures for specified cases. Those future measures are not treated here as already in force. We cannot confirm a control code or permit route from a model name alone; the actual item, technical characteristics, end user, use and rules in force must be reviewed.

Batteries and other shipment contents

Do not assume batteries, fuel, radios, a flight controller or a payload are included. If batteries are quoted, request the exact battery model and the applicable UN 38.3 test summary. Battery air transport also depends on the shipment classification, configuration, packaging, marking, documentation, state of charge and current carrier and State requirements. A test summary alone does not guarantee airline acceptance. CE marking and FCC equipment authorization concern applicable product or radio obligations; they are not battery air-transport certificates.

Agree delivery responsibilities in writing

Confirm the named delivery term and place, freight, insurance, duties, taxes, destination import and operating requirements, packing, damage reporting and any applicable cancellation or refund terms in the quotation and contract. Do not assume these are included or settled by this notice.

Verify evidence against the exact quoted package

Request the legal seller, payment beneficiary, package BOM and applicable document revision. For any claimed conformity or test evidence, match the responsible entity, product and hardware revision, included radio or battery model, test scope and destination. A generic certificate image, supplier photograph or software logo does not verify your order.

Supplier identity & payment beneficiary

Ask for the legal seller, current registration, invoice and payment beneficiary. Check that they match through an independent channel; a photo or domain name is not proof of identity.

Included hardware & package scope

Name the model and package. Confirm the airframe, propulsion, servos, avionics, payload, wiring, spares and documents included. KIT or PNP alone is not a complete parts list.

Payload suitability & interfaces

Share the payload weight, size, mounts, power and data connections. A listed payload limit does not prove that a sensor or flight controller has been integrated or approved.

Test evidence & acceptance

Agree the checks, records and pass criteria for your order. A bare airframe, propulsion package and complete system need different evidence.

Quotation, timing & delivery

Ask for a written quote with the package, quantity, lead time, packing, shipping responsibility, insurance and exclusions. Do not assume duties, taxes or operating approvals are included.

Warranty, support & spares

Confirm warranty coverage, duration, exclusions, returns, spare parts and support in writing. This website does not promise a standard warranty period or response time.

Factory or supplier review

Ask whether a live call, dated product walkthrough, manufacturing information or visit is available. Confirm arrangements; photos do not prove factory size, capacity or ownership.
